How much does it take you to black out/OD on benzos and depressant homies?

The only time i have ever blacked out on benzo's was my first or second (or maybe fifth) time doing them. My friend and I had gotten a damn good deal on a some totem poles (bars, I guess you would call them) .... split between four people.... I'd say we each ate about five or six. At once with no tolerance. This was in high school when we were young and dumb and underestimated the power of drugs and all that. I don't remember a thing from that night, I guess I just stayed up in the apartment and watched movies and smoked or something, but my buddy ended up in a psych ward for a week and a half and still won't talk about what happened. Crazy shit.
I now know not to take it that far especially with xanax but i do have anxiety and it helps if i can get some and try to like ration it out... but then I end up drinking and eating them.... I still never black out though, I just feel chill as fuck lol.
Drinking + benzos is a bad bad combination in my opinion because it's so easy to take it too far. A good friend of mine has that problem way bad, I can't count the number of times I've had to clean up after all his... situations.
They certainly don't lie when they say it's habit-forming.

 

I've had numerous blackouts from different benzos, the worst ones were when I took 25 mg of phenazepam and another time when i took 14 mg of xanax.

When I started doing benzos my self control was horrible and as soon as I could feel them coming on I would think "THIS WONT BE STRONG ENOUGH, LETS HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE AND TAKE MORE (and a bunch of other drugs too)!"

After getting myself into alot of shit from a few of those types of experiences I've set strict limits for myself (not that I don't get fucked up on them) but the most important rules for me are:

Taking my dose ONLY once, as redosing once they've already kicked in is probably wasteful and always leads to blackouts. It's much more safe to kick it up a notch with some weed and beer IMO - I know combining alcohol with benzos is dangerous but I think it's a damn good combo if done right.

If I ever take high doses or booze in the mix I always make sure that I'd be somewhere so that if I was to pass out or whatever it'd be fine - but it's not like you ever plan to have blackouts, they just happen. Self control and knowing your limits helps

 

Not sure about the LD, though taking depressants together is a good way to put yourself in trouble, the respiratory suppression can potentially kill at larger quantity's of drug.

But that dose could be means for a blackout. Benzos are good at that.

 

this too, when you add alcohol and pain pills into the mix you're really flirting with death. a lot of people i know do this and it scares me.

threw it all into the mix and woke up dead.

a little weed, a little booze, sure,
but when you go seeking this kind of mixmaster high,
you are not long for this world, no lie.
get therapy, go to meetings, some damned thing from inside...
