Caffeine+creativity+whimsical imagination+boredom and frustration brought on by indoor imprisonment in a freezing cold climate= making a fictional carnivorous plant from scratch

clutter of art crap all over. from paint brushes, to clay to other people's stuff, lots of framed pieces hanging on the walls.

if you've seen del torros Bleak House, it's like that but messier

That's pretty cool, I guess art doesn't need to be pictures or anything framed. You know, I've seen some really cool dinosaur fossil models lately that look realistic and I wouldn't mind building them. I'm.unsure where they would go in my house, but I like dinosaurs.

Well there's always mantles and decorative shelves. The metal heat blocking top of the radiator in my apartment doesn't have art on it but has a fish mount, model of an old ship with sails, a bear skull, and other neat looking things.

Yeah, shelf/mantelpiece arrangements of oddities, old bottles, models, and shells/wood/rocks etc. are a form of art, I think.

I have drawings and sketches all over the place in my room. Stacks of drawings on loose paper and card stock and maybe 15 or so sketchbooks, though not all of them are filled. My grandmother who I live with also paints so there are a good amount of paintings in my house as well.

Some Paintings As In "Prints"...But Of Little Value.....BUT.....I Have Bought Many Tapestries

And I Absolutely Love Them.....They Require Many More "Man Hours" To Create Than A Water Colour

Or Oil Painting...... I Keep Looking For More But Good Ones Are Getting Harder To Find....However....

There Is One Highly Valuable Piece I Have Hanging On My Wall......And That Is A Portrait

Of GLEN When He Was About 3 Years Old........TOTALLY PRICELESS....... :D

    Cheers Glen.

I have several in my house

Most of them came from estate sales, and my parents giving me their left over junk they no longer want.

It's a big difference from my last roommate from Senegal who wanted to keep our apartment walls bare and white. How boring is that?!

I have many prints that I need to put up. My two recent are Daria and Jane dressed up as The Pope. Got both of them from a oddities fair. One of the best decisions I ever made lol

I Must Confess......I Don't Decorate My Doors.....I Just Clean Them On A Regular Basis.....

And Re-Coat With A Sealer When Necessary ......Does This Make Me A "Loser" In The

Eyes Of The OP...???...:anguished:....If Indeed This Be So....."TOUGH TITTIE"...... :D

    Cheers Glen.
