I'm 17 as well. I feel the same way as Penelope (peacelove&music). I really don't use the term "hippie" to describe myself since I was not fortunate enough to live during the 60s, but I have the same values.
any other "kind kids" around here in my area?? jus south a lil outside of st. louis...........fenton mo
i'll be 15 in april, imma young hippe!!!!!! just because you were born in the '90s dousn't mean that you aren't a hippie. a hippie is someone who lives a non-violent, tranquil, and thoughtful existance. i hope you guys realize that
I think you can know if you're a hippie way before you're thirty. The majority of the first wave of hippies weren't thirty. Teens aren't too young to know that stuff in the world is wrong and have views that hippies do. Sure, they're young and their views can change but that doesnt mean they arent hippies as of now. I'm fourteen and i've been called a hippie by so many people because i have more peaceful views and question athority more so than them. If that makes me a hippie then i'm a hippie. We all need to get together as the youth of the world and get change happening in this fucked up world.
I'm 19, I consider myself young. I can see why many people consider me a hippy. Don't concern myself too much with the whole style n all that jazz, but I do have long hair. But it is hard to deny I enjoy much hippy music and do up the whole concert and festival thing. I smoke ganja. Drop acid occasionally maybe some mushrooms. In the addition of all those substances in my life came a new awareness and new choices I can make as conscious person. Lest we deny the struggles involved. I love the word hip, I apply it to so many different things beyond hippie. But it all ties in kind of. It's fun stuff.
I'm 13. But age -or time, for that matter- is relative, isn't it? Time is just a made up thing, that's completely nonexistent, but we live our lives by it. -Ahem, coughcough- Yeah. Teenage hippy.
