How many women claim rape or molestation for attention?

I say the full sentence.. Being accused of rape, whether it's later found false or not, kinda sticks with a person, and can ruin their life..

 

I completely agree. If more girls make shit up, the girls that it actually happens to are less likely to be taken seriously. And THAT is dangerous!

you would be surprised how often a married woman gets drunk and thinks its a good idea, gets caught , and later claims rape in the military. the powers that be automatically believe the female involved. we had an incident recently where she forgot she allowed it to be video taped, and when they charged her with making a false report she instantly became mentally unstable and was moved to a psychiatric ward...which is also extremely common in the military.

 

I read somewhere that 90% of rapes aren't reported. Now, if only 10% are reported, think about how many out there that no one will ever hear about...

i guess i honestly dont know how much people lie about that though, i mean i dont think anyone can know how often that happens.

and as for me, if im gonna do something dumb- fuck that, its my responsibility, i admit things and take the blame and whatever happens. its happened before and i dont have to make things up and get other people in trouble. that is a load of bullshit. people need to grow some balls,... erm, or whatever you would say being that we're talking about females.... and learn that they are responsible for what they do. that, and learn some respect/caring for other people.....

people lying about rape prevents real rapes from being reported... the victim is often subjected to some intense scrutiny, rape kits, tests, having to explain over and over again what happened. Arg, it pisses me off so much when people lie about important shit like that, it fucks up so many more lives, and not just the person they accused.

 

I am most skeptical of those who volunteer the information in almost "broadcast" form or who tell it in like the first two dates or something. Not that it didn't happen and their lives aren't scarred, but that just brings my "bullshit" detector to a high level.

Am I wrong here?

 

i find it disturbing that anyone could lie about such an horrendous crime but does the retraction of an accusation necessarily mean the accusation was false?
I imagine many women retract because they find the legal process too harrowing. and others may retract through fear..that may be especially so in the case of rape within marriage or a relationship.
i have a friend whos marriage ended with her rape and assault...her husband faced 15yrs for GBH and rape and yet through fear she retracted her statement...
things arent always as they first appear...i just wonder how large a percentage of retracted rape statements did actualy occur?

 

What about little Catholic boys? I mean, if they weren't dressing in those tight little ass shorts, wiggling themselves in front of god and everybody, would this have happened?

I say, the children are to blame... and kids are so grown up nowadays, they knew what they were doing.

yeah, i've known 2 women to lie about it. one time i was there, the other time her sister knew the whole situation. both times involved severely depressed and emotionally broken women. fucked up shit. one was an accusation against my brother, and that makes me so fucking furious. it DOES in fact rob true victims of their dignity and rights.

 

I can imagine that some poeple lie about it, just like some people lie about a lot of other things too.

Maybe some of these women were taught at an EARLY age that sex was a game of strategy to be played. Power to use. Just a thought....

On the flip side, how many men lie about who they have had sex with? I know of at least 2 guys who told their friends that they had sex with me.

I wish what my g/f told me was a lie... got damn i wish it was all a lie... But unfortunately it was true... all of it.
