I had them, but they broke, and then I simply never bought new ones (I don't see 20-20 but it's not really a hindrance). So, not really.
yes i wear them, for everything EXCEPT reading and close up little bits. those i can see just fine. almost microscopically. to see anything further away then the end of the room, i mean to really see it, not just see that its there, but see what it acually looks like, to read a sign or something, for THAT i need them. =^^= .../\...
I've worn them since I was maybe 8 or 9. I tried contacts, I wore toric lenses. They're for astigmatism, they continually move around on your eye so really you can never focus on anything and there was slight double vision. Really annoying, I would rub and rub and they never would settle in a proper place. I couldn't drive in them, it was that bad. My astigmatism is severe, they had to special order the lenses for me. So I just stick with glasses. I like to be able to see.
Yeah i wear them all the time. It gets annoying casue i kinda look like a geek. o well contacts are jsut around the corner
I W-E-A-R specs. Have since age 2. I got bifocals at age 34. Dirty Dog, I wish we were that organized. Nope, inane polls are organic here: a natural growth of people's diecrete experiences.
Ooh, me too drumminmama (or me 2, if you like bad puns) Parents figured I was short sighted when I kept walking into walls
ahhh i look terrible in glasses! except sun glasses, which i look surprisingly good in. i wear contacts instead
I'm astigmatic too; why can't you wear contact lenses? I wear contact lenses. I hate glasses - it feels like I'm hiding something from the world, and I can't really connect to people when I'm wearing them. I am weird Plus, if I'm wearing glasses, I can't wear sunglasses. I need my sunglasses
for me, glasses feel natural. they are the first thing i reach for when i wake up and the last thing i take off at night. when swimming at the beach or in in a pool i reach for them as soon as i exit the water. i always have a pair of prescription sunglasses made when i get new glasses.
I have an astigmatism in both eyes, and it is very bad. I have had to wear glasses since I was about 5 or 6. I have been wearing contact lens' for the past 4 years and I like it better. A plus is I can wear non prescription sun glasses now. It still feels weird putting on sunglasses over my contacts at times. I also sometimes try to push my glasses up further on my nose when I realize that I'm wearing contacts. I have a condition in my right eye called ambliopia, or lazy eye. My left eye does more work but I see out of both eyes. I want to do a study on this condition sometime.
I wear glasses. Been wearing glasses since I was in the 5th grade. But in the last 2 years, I haven't worn mine and wore contacts for a while. I had some ugly looking ones at the time and they didn't go with anything I wore. But I got me some newer ones last week and they are awesome. So, now, I wear my glasses every single day now. They are dark frames and like a cat-eye style, which looks so great on me. This pair I'm keeping forever, that's for sure.
