Damn foreigners! Anyhow, don't worry... 99% of the Americans I have met who took Spanish in High School can't really speak Spanish.

English, Swedish, and American High School Spanish. My first high school Spanish teacher didn't actually know Spanish. I'm beginning Icelandic in the fall semester at school, too.

1. I'm Polish... no i don't know anyone that speaks polish and no one in the family does... well distant family(cousins, nephews.. etc..) i dont know about... 2. Boredum.. i have extra time.. i've had an itch for learning lately.. and i like foreign languages.. 4 years of spanish under my belts and have worked in 90% spanish speaking kitchens before After i get Polish down i think i''m gonna start haitian creole.. seems like an interesting language.. and then sooner or later the others i listed.. i'd like to see how many i can learn before the year is done.. and not just like "yea i know a few words in such and such" i want to be able to carry simple conversation at least..
