i would like to know what the average number of "priors" is normal for a the modern twenty-something. I hear everyone going on about how many people they have had sex with, as if it's something to be ashamed of if you have a low number, but do people ever really think about this in relation to their own significant other? Personally, I find it hard to think about my girlfriend with any of her ex-es, their steaming bodies writhing together, touching every part of his body with every part of hers ...

am i wrong?

 

i know this is the "free love" forum (well, sex, not love), but i undoubtedly prefer a woman who is yes, experienced sexually, but is also NOT the town bicycle. i think that's totally fucking gross. personally, i would never want to be with a woman like that.

i'm incredibly glad my girlfriend hasn't made it to the double digits.... i am her fifth and favorite and she is my third and favorite. she has had one, one-night stand and said that it was not worth it at all.

sex with someone you love and deeply care for is one of the most incredible experiences of this life, i think. my wonderful girlfriend reminds me that sex and love are indeed separate things but that sex is far more satisfying with the right person. in the end, i think she's probably right. but i still have no desire to be counting numbers....

 

When I think about all the people I've had sex with, I know only two of them were because I really cared about them at all. I do kind of feel whorish sometimes for it, but I also have sex because I enjoy it, which I see no problem with.

 

My god! 4! Thats not as many as I slept with when I was your age. By the time I was 18 I'd had lots of experience and one night stands. Destoyed my soul a bit. I don't think it matters. You learn from the experiences. Don't worry what other people think. I have lost count with the number of guys I've slept with. Must be about 10 now. And I'm only 23 and been with the same guy for 4 years now. Far out! What a whore i must be if you've only had 4! hahahahahaha!

I've only slept with one person and I'm 19. For me, any more than 1 is promiscuis, I'm a very loyal person. But then, there's nothing wrong with having a little fun on the side if you don't have a significant other.

 

If you picked up four guys in bars and had one night stands with them, you might be on the way to slutsville, but if you had relationships with four guys which ultimately led to intercourse, that is a life experience.

 

I had a boyfriend who had slept with over 200 people (he was 28), and it did make me a bit concerned, although I wasn't that upset about it at the time, although I felt insecure as I was very shy in bed when I was younger. Turns out he had loads of issues though, and was a bit of a sex addict who had dabbled in prostitution as well. Luckily that relationship only lasted 1 month (what was I thinking?)

I don't really think any number is too high, it all depends on why the person is sleeping with many people. If a person told me they had had safe sex with 70 people because they simply loved sex and loved enjoying different people in bed, I wouldn't judge them. However if someone had had sex with, say 5 people, for any other reasons than loving sex, eg to boost their self-esteem, to manipulate other people, etc, then it would make me think of that person as a slut.

I'm 21 and I've been with 15 people and I find that to be sort of average (but then maybe all my friends are just sluts )

I'm kind of weird in this sense, but it turns me on to think about my boyfriend's past sex life. I love hearing stories of naughty things he has done, and I admit it's a bit of a turn on for me to imagine him with another person (although in real life it wouldn't be so hot, unless I had consented to it beforehand of course!)

That depends on how you view sex. I only have sex in a serious relationship. Some people may have several serious relationships, some may have one, some may have 10???? It all depends. For me I've had 6 partners and I feel like my current boyfriend is the one, my soul mate....

first of all 4 or 5 isnt alot for 18 year olds in my city.
now in this city..... 18 year olds have had maybe like 20-30 partners in sex so tell me is that to many or is 4 or 5?

If you have sex with a friend or friends that is not being a whore. If you have sex with someone and can't remember their name, that is. And gender doesn't have anything to do with it.
