How Many Dreads?

I had 52 when I had dreads

 

48 now, i think!
it kind of hard to count em!

 

i've now got 32 plus 2 baby ones that are forming

 

About 82

 

Guys, i've got a question. I figured I don't need a new topic for it since it kinda ties in with this one.
My dreads are pretty new, about 7 months old. During the years to come, will I get more dreads? I have 20 dreads right now(they're neither fat, nor thin...just about the "normal" size), and was kinda confused seeing everyone post such large numbers.

 

gheheh, maybe you can get more dreads if you just let nature do it's thing. New dreads may apear from new hair. But if you maintain, no new dreads will form.

are they backonbed or natural? if backombed, as far as ive expirienced you dont grow any more.

they will however phatten up a great deal in time

 

I've got 23, but I'm happy with that number. Mine are kinda fat though.

 

well mine are naturalk and some are pretty thick others very thin.
new ones do pop up sometimes maintanance like ripping createds fuzzyness u know tjhat fuzzy halo u get, evenbtualuyy the fuzz between dreads will grow
if left natuyral it becomes new dreads
the unnatural way suggested onb other sites is to ball it up and tuck it under the roots to become part of the dreads
to me thayts counter productive
the hairs that try connecting 1 dread to another either want those 2 dreads to be 1 or, want to be theyre own dread.. but odviosly dont want to be restricted to the dread u think they belong in

My dreadlocks are a prime number squared. Neat.

 

i have around 37 i think, medium thickness. i'm really jealous of people with thick hair and lots of dreads! they look so lovely! well, all dreads are lovely but it's just a really cool look.

 

I backcombed and counted 41. Now 3 weeks later I have 44 ( managed to get the extra 3 out of bangs and loose hairs )

 

About 36!

I'm pretty sure Dopeamin seen the error of his ways and is now much better for it. Wax is evil, i'm sure it was not sarcasm.

hey i started reading the forum last night and it has really helped but i still ahve two questions

1. i have a part in my head from were i did my dreads three days ago will that part every go away?
2. my hair is undoing at the root and i think its cause im a mixed kid ") what do i do to keep it from coming undone all the way oh and yeah the tips are really tight and nice and round

hey... I started with 41 last month, and my partner counted them this morning. I now have 47 :O I think they're breeding! lol
