How Many Dreads?

25 but i bet when they get more secure there will be between 30 and 40

i really tried counting just now, but was kinda difficult to..but approximately 99 long mature 1's..a couple dozen lil baby 1's..3 long beard dreads & 3 more shorter babies
oh..& i counted the ones thet grew together as 1 also..otherwise i think it would be bout 110

My hair is 2 inches right now though, i can't wait until I get that last inch so I can dread my hair!!

I got a question for all you dreadheaded experts. When you have thin dreads. Do they automatically come together, or is it you that kind of has to braid/twist them together?

Never thought I had that many either... Trying to get some to merge though (it's not going well)

 

WOW...but your dreads look quite thick considering you have that many! i think i have about 60 (well thats was about the count when i had them done) and i have some that feel really thin and whispy, either you have a really big head (no offense ) or they really thickened out over time.

im planning on leaving mine alone for a year and then i might re-start with thicker roots or just let some congo, but if they thinken up like yours i will be very happy ^___^

 

I've got heaps of itt-bitty natural ones, like, with a cm in diametre, but i've got about 10 'locks' you could say,
although 2 have somewhat merged into one, and it's kind of started to join another one at the roots.

Kind of 'survival of the fittest' hahaha, but i can feel alot of matted hair that just needs some time before it scraggles into being
