This is my second day of not eating. I am not going to eat. All I do is sit at home doing nothing.

I just drink water at home. Never get out of home.

as many as i'm too lazy to go to the grocery store, and hope its never too long to still have the strength to do so.
i rather enjoy food though actually. but i suspect i might be healthier if i were to more often eat less then my brain and body tries to insist that i want.

i don't think i've ever gone without eating more then a day or two, but there have been times, do to circumstances, that i've only eaten one meal a day, and that not every day.

as for doing nothing, i'm sorry but i don't really believe there is any such thing. imagining and imagineering IS 'doing something' and i'm ALWAYS doing that, even when doing more physical things at the same time also. you're atomonmic nervious system won't allow you do literally "do nothing", it keeps you breathing and your heart pumping, just the same whether you're aware of their doing so or not. and by always i mean even when i'm asleep. especially when i'm asleep. or relaxing, or what ever.

I eat frequently. But when I first started trying to lose weight, I thought that the answer was not eating.

Now, I don't like the way it feels when I don't eat. Like this morning... Usually, I cut up an apple first thing in the morning. Today, I went straight for the coffee instead; which is fine! I'm all for variety... But now I'm a little hungry.

I don't like feeling hungry, so I usually snack a little. And while it's very true that in order to lose weight you need to be mindful - literally track your calories, it's also important to be well grounded and realistic. For me, not eating was never a sustainable approach to weight loss - not even in short bursts! :D

I NEVER go without eating, either as a child or now as an aged decrepit crinkly.

i almost always eat, first thing i get up, after i piss and wash my hands. microwaves are a myricle.

every once in a while i'll go the rest of my 'day' without eating anything else though.
(day in quotes because my wake and sleep cycle seldom correspond with those of the culture around me.)

I can go for 5 days without eating but I prefer not to.
The longest any person has gone without eating was a scottsman who went for 384 days consuming nothing but water and occasionally vitamin pills

I found a 24 hour fast is a great way to recover from alcohol poisoning.

They say it is also good for kickstarting one's immune system to fast daily once a month.
