Wow, that's bullshit. I want to get put on unsupervised probation; I sure as hell can't afford those fees! I wonder if my financial situation will work in my favor here.. What do you know about supervised vs. unsupervised prob?

 

Nothing really, and I'm sure it varies from state to state. All I know is after I FINALLY pay my fine/fees off completely, then I will be unsupervised and won't have to report anymore. I still have another ~1.5 years on probation though and, unless I find a job soon, I won't be getting my shit paid off for a long while. I might talk to my PO about working my fine/fees off through community service, which is what my cousin is doing.
