How long does the honeymoon period last for you?

Hi Guys,

I'm a Bi male and I'm just wondering, how long does the initial honeymoon period (where your partner seems perfect and you feel like you're completely in love with them etc) in your relationships normally last?

Do you find that the honeymoon period ends quicker in your relationships with the opposite sex?

That feeling normally lasts for about 6 months for me (in a relationship with guys) but about half that length when I'm with a girl. Is this the same for you?
