not true. plant material is just fine in the fridge, as long as it is dry and in an airtight container. i've got bud from almost 2 years ago in a vacuum sealed mason jar in the fridge, and it is as good as the day it was harvested.
Yea that's why we keep vegetables in our fridges...so they break down faster and we have to toss em out sooner =/.
better, and quicker than the orange peel. just run the hot water in the bathroom, and put your herb on a plate, when the steam fills the room the weed will regain moisture. Do not leave it on the floor, try at least higher than the sink because the steam wont be by the floor.
maybe if you would read what i posted... i said if it is too cold, and yes it will break down faster if you put your vegetables in a too cold environment. ever wonder why there is a "crisper" drawer in your fridge? it's so that it doesn't get too cold or too warm also note that some things you just DON'T put in the fridge like soft fleshed fruit, because it decomposes rapidly in cold. i was just assuming that the same might hold true if you were to put marijuana in a very cold fridge or freezer, which someone might attempt so as to "preserve" it for longer. seriously, you need to READ
weed is neither a vegetable nor a fruit. while i understand your logic completely, it is hard to apply it towards weed. from personal experience, putting weed in the fridge, air tight and vacuum sealed makes it last forever. two things degrade THC: light and oxygen. remove both of those and you've got bud as potent as the day you've harvested it.
yet it is still a plant, therefor has cell walls, which is what breaks down in cold. I'm just saying, don't go freezing all of your pot, because you could do much better by keeping it all in a mason jar in your basement. No need to argue brother, we are on the same page here, lol (but it is a fruit bearing plant actually. seeds? fruit...if I am not mistaken)
God, do I have to come in this thread and make you look like a dumbass again? Freezing will only destroy cell walls of the plants when they are fresh (Just harvested) and the moisture expands while freezing. Freezing actually has its benefits, especially when making hash because it makes the trichcomes brittle for better sifting. Only way its going to effect potency is if you froze the buds then shook them hard or some stupid shit to make the trich's fall off. Of course unless you're wanting to store this bud for EXTENDED periods of time there's really no need to freeze, a air tight mason jar at room temp will do just fine.
Thank you for reposting exactly what I've been saying there, genius Since when are people complete fagels on this site?
your post was tldr..only skimmed, I read a few of your earlier ones and didn't want to read anymore of the garbage you were spewing out.
lmfao okay, again I don't see why people nerd rage over this shit. I was suggesting something that MIGHT happen but you guys supplied info about it, which was helpful... i love how people jump at the chance to be assholes
I kind of like it when my weed ages. It might get really harsh but i always seem to get much higher off of aged weed. Are you sure it loses potency over periods of time. Im talking about 3 or 4 weeks. Not too long.
