what if there's no cell service though You'd be searching every business to see who has WiFi for their customers.
I am with you on that one, although I do not have a smartphone, since I prefer to deal with emails from home or the office, I swap sims and run off with Jane's iphone when I am visiting a strange city.
You bring up a good point about GPS. I have gone to total dependence on a GPS, and have put the road maps and atlas in the trunk or in the garage, and now my sense of direction is pretty shitty I’ve seen the same thing gradually happen in the military with basic map reading and land navigation. Once the GPS became part of the inventory and used extensively in military exercises and on the battlefield, some soldiers (not all) struggled with basic land navigation, which was easily seen once GPSs no longer worked.
Never did it but in Turkey, I dont have any problem with that. Only on roads where nobody lives. In places, where people live, no such problem.
Not in the North it's not - (We insist on VFM!) Although if you go to the South, there's a little place called Essex - where the Girls there can be quite 'accommodating'
