How important is freedom of expression?

Yes it is.

 

Free Speech in America isn't dead but only on life support. When H.R. 1955 becomes law you not only loose your right to speak, it controls what you can think! Go to the video section and take a look, or You Tube it. I fought for a protesters right to call me names and I don't want anybody to mess with that. Call your senator and complain, in a polite well mannered voice.

 

Unfortunately, we're passed the point where voting or writing to politicians can change anything. More direct action is needed.

 

For some reason I had it in my head that you were a Western Canadian gal. In which case it wouldn't have made sense for me to try to get there for a study date, but now that I know you're in Ontariariario it still doesn't make any sense.

 

People are pretty cynical here. Overly so. And also confusing freedom of speech with freedom of association, which are too different things.

And of course, there are justifiable limits to both.

 

I go to U of Western Ontario. You may have... confused me with the other outrageously attractive Canadian redhead. You are absolved.
