How has the recession affected you?

Thanks for the well-wishes; she was diagnosed in September, and we had serious worries that she wouldn't even survive until Xmas. But she's doing much better in all respects; her mental and physical coping abilities astonish and inspire me. I spend every free moment with her now, and treasure every precious second.

But having to worry about keeping a job for the health insurance is a constant worry that keeps me almost physically ill every minute of the day.
