i ride the bus and most dirvers tend to obey the law and keep to their schedules, as much as is humanly possible to do both, if they want to keep their jobs. although many of them are retired from other kinds of work and don't absolutely need to wory about remaining employed as they already have pensions from elsewhere. well that's the way it was when i was riding arround on it all the time, more often then i do now. now i think it's mostly younger drivers who actualy have the job because they need to. but anyway being in a hurry is a load of crap and trying to impress people is what is destroy our planet and our quality of life on it. =^^= .../\...
The reason I chose the car that I did was beause I needed a car with alot of cargo space and I didn't want a gas hog. My car get about 25mpg some times more. Having the speed and the ride is an extra bonus. But I wasn't about to get a truck and SUV that gets only 10 mpg thats just not responsible on my part.
i'm never really in a hurry - its just that i have to be an aggressive driver in boston. you can't be pussy-footing the gas here, you wont' get anywhere ....plus, i just like speeding through school zones with plenty kids around
My car is a yard ornament since I don't have the funds to fix her up. I drive my mom's poor '98 Honda Accord way too damn fast, but it gets me to school on time.
