my customers all drive crap one has a porsche but i dont work on it... probably the funnest driving one would be the millenia with one of those miller cycle engines...i was impressed at its accelleration
got up to about 145 on the freeway and that was scary as hell, ur flyin by people doin' 90 like they're standin' still and you don't know when some asshole is gonna try to change lanes so you gotta flash ur high beams so nobody gets you all killed.
When I owned my Audi on the highway 100 every chance I got. It purred after 90. It was also designed to be driven that way and held the road well. Now I am a grown up I do not drive much over 80.
Yeah some cars you don't even feel the speed. Sometimes I'd be doing 100 and not even realize it until I look down at the speedo, or saw cop lights in my rearview
Probably 90-95 mph. When I used to work at this National Park all us park rangers used to race each other.
120 mph in my cheap little nissan. i was racing someone they were driving a vw golf which was way faster than my car on the straights, but once we got into some traffic i had the better technique and ended up winning even though my car wasn't as fast. better technique ie biggest balls / fewest brain cells
They're beautiful machines, especially considering the era they were made in. Its interesting that Henry Ford II commissioned it to put 2 fingers up at Enzo Ferrari. Apparently because Ferrari joined the Fiat Group rather than be sold to Ford. http://www.automobilemag.com/featur..._vs_enzo_ferrari_great_rivalries/viewall.html There's also something slightly scary about them. Its as if you're being seduced by some "demon". I once had a gocart crash, which softened my need for speed a little...
Very true Glen But I'm still typing/breathing after the cart crash. Not so sure if I would after a GT crash... hehe
Yogi, "Fastest ever gone, 96' GSXR 1157 sport bike, 186mph GPS and cop speed gun. " Mate lent me one from his shop and yep about right what you say, i wasn't as fast as we are in mountains. R1 Yam had no sensation of speed at all, same deal , can't say how fast.
