Georgia has already certified the election results. A hearing on the Trump campaign’s Nevada lawsuit is scheduled to take place on December 1, AP reported. And two of Wisconsin’s largest counties, Milwaukee and Dane, are in the process of conducting a recount after the Trump campaign filed a petition requesting one, CNN reported. Counting will be conducted in both counties till December 1, which is also the deadline for the state to certify its results.

So December 1st should be the end of this part of the process, whether he'll cave in or try something else then remains to be seen.

They already seem to have moved on to Phase2, which is to try to pressure Republican state governments to appoint pro-Trump electors at variance with the popular vote. That's blatantly unconstitutional, and is also unlikely to go anywhere. Phase 3 seems to be scorched earth--earth being the U.S.: snarling things up so much with obstructionism that the government simply can't function. Ah, yes. Trump is going out in a blaze of infamy! I have friends who voted for Trump and say it's terrible what he's doing to the country. So there is hope.

Giuliani issued a statement on Saturday claiming that the rejection “turns out to help us in our strategy to get expeditiously to the U.S. Supreme Court” through the appeals process.

Bring it on! Betcha the Supreme Court says "cert denied". If not, Trump should lose since he has no case. Otherwise, it's curtains for the Court and U.S. constitutional democracy.!

Interesting wording Giuliani uses... Their "strategy" all along has been to lose so they can get it in front of the US Supreme Court as soon as possible...

I agree. The Supreme Court has always refused to take on a "Political Question" and have repeatedly ruled election matters are to be left to the states. All the Republicans except maybe Alito and Thomas should keep in line with the old rule.

A keen observation. Maybe Trump did cut a deal with one or two judges but I think Roberts will deny the case.

It takes four to grant cert. I think even the most die hard conservatives on the Court are aware that if a conservative Republican bloc overturned the results of the election with zero evidence of fraud, their credibility as a judicial institution would be kaput and they would be exposed for posterity as a bunch of corrupt political hacks.

The Supreme Court would have to deny it unless Trump's legal team can come up with some real evidence of voter fraud, which they've failed to do so far.

Don't you just feel sorry for Sidney powell....lol..

Sidney Powell Undermined Georgia GOP During Crucial Senate Runoff Before Trump Campaign Cut Her Loose

Sidney Powell, a former member of President Donald Trump's legal team who claimed she would "blow up" Georgia with a "biblical" voter fraud lawsuit, undermined top Republicans ahead of two key Senate runoff races in the state by peddling baseless conspiracy theories.

The lawyer, who was cut loose by the Trump campaign on Sunday, claimed that the Republican Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger
were paid to be involved in an alleged conspiracy around the use of Dominion Voting Systems.

"Georgia's probably going to be the first state I'm gonna blow up," Powell told the conservative network Newsmax TV yesterday.

She also made the unfounded claim on Newsmax that Rep. Doug Collins would have beaten Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler in the special election for her seat, were it not for the alleged conspiracy.

Good point. I forgot about the number of justices required for Cert. And I agree their reputation will be fore-ever tarnished. In the event they agree to hear the case, Trump's lawyer have to disclose evidence according to the rules of practice. So far they have produced nothing. Trump keeps saying his investigators have uncovered hundreds of thousands of incidents of voter fraud, but nothing has been provided to the public forum. Trump's lawyer have told 30 courts that they have no evidence of fraud. So, if Cert is granted, the matter is remanded to the district court, so the state of Michigan could have the disclosures. Basically, Trump is full of shit.

One must also remember that disclosure of the evidence is given, not only to the court per se, but the alleged defendant (Joe Biden and his legal team) so they will also learn of the evidence if any, that Hephatrump intends to use to overturn the election result in particular states.

Yes, that's the way it usually works in American courts; however, we've had a very difficult time explaining this to Donald Trump, our Jack-Ass in Chief.

Rudy, is that you? Things must be getting really desperate if you've come to HF to plead your conspiracy theories. I'd say again: "Tell it to the judge!" But you did that and he laughed you out of court.
