My garden not doing very good. Spring started out wet, had to mud seeds and plants in, just to get them in the ground. had way too much rain. Now we have had no rain and very hot. Mother nature was cruel, and I don't have much to show for my work. A few tomatoes and cucumbers, but corn looks sick, and beans washed out twice.

Eight cucumbers off four vines then nothing. Tomatoes bloomed then stopped. Three little knotty tomatoes. Crab grass and nut sedge are doing fine in the lawn.

"You should rotate them year after year even If you just have a small plot."

The plants are in large containers. No vegetables have been grown here in the last 30 years.

I did rotate the containers but it didn't help.

Topdressing with a product called Tomatotone. Used to use Miragrow for tomatoes but garden center recommended this. The vines are healthy with good leaves, just no blooms.

Ah, well I'm no expert. This is only my 4th year growing things.. but I've been taught to use a liquid feed twice a week once they're getting to fruiting point.

Thanks. Me either. Growing up on a farm we side dressed with 10-10-10, just like for other fertilization. I think the tomatoes may be dormant due to the 90 degree weather we have. I'll go back to Miragrow when it cools down and hope for the best.

It grows well. I read a lot of info about compost and other pro stuff. Gardening is my main hobby right now. I just read about best leaf blowers and ordered one for home use. Can't wait to receive my purchase.

Driftrue, Nice my garden wasn't good this year. Too wet early then dry. Hope to do better next year. I like seeing weed free gardens. Good job.

Ha, thank you. it's far from weed free, but I enjoy weeding so keep mostly on top of it.

Peppers actually changing colour which is cool, because previous years they just stayed green and if they did start changing they simultaneously went mouldy. I don't know why.
There are loads of runner beans that need picking today.

For those of you who do not know what runner beans are there special beans people in England grow to throw at runners running by their front doors hence name runner beans sometimes they throw them at their neighbours 2

I'm growing hundred-pound pumpkins I have half a dozen going biggest ones about maybe 40 inch pounds

I have a license to cannabis grow where I am growing and breeding God bud, blackberry hammer, God's la cookies, black dolato , BC cheese....

I put in eight tomato plants this year 4 beefsteak tomato plants in for cherry tomato plants all are doing well the cherries are just beginning to be read in the morning but they never make it back to the house I eat them out in the field... I'll throw up a pic later when I go outside

That's correct. I bet you just got that information off Wikipedia.

I regret not growing a pumpkin for Halloween.

3 years ago my son mashed up a pumpkin and buried it and we've gotten a pumpkin vine every year since. There's a couple of flowers on it right now
