How does the straight average woman finds men personality attractive? I'm 28 and I never had a relationship with a man (only kissing around with a dude in college for two weeks) They just treat me really badly. I'm a femme bi with some masculine energy projecting and a low libido which I suspect has to do with the fact of men always treating me like shit. It seems like in order to be in a relationship with a man you either worship they ground they walk on, never argue with them, don't know about life than they do, never contradict him, look hot but don't show him the the process of getting there or he he will reject you, don't speak your mind, don't speak too much actually, don't show your feelings and a lot of weird requirements hiding under "but we men are simple creatures" facade that's a trap in the way of the complicated truth.. You have to be pretty much a lapdog to make it anywhere with a man which goes against my beliefs and morals and now with the rise of movements like men going their own way, return of the kings, ect I'm starting to see that men really don't like women that much but have to put up with us for biological reasons to satisfy their desires. Here's a list of unfortunate events throughout my life:

    1. Bullied in school by males, made to feel inferior.
    2. Insulted in a daily basis by guys in school growing up (reasons: being quiet, having vitiligo (a skin disorder) being tall and lanky, and who knows what else was going through their minds)
    3. Never asked out in high school or college, had a physical fight with a guy who came to hit me and verbally abuse me because I wouldn't talk to other guys or sleep around)
    4. The boy I was kissing dissapeared when I got sick in the hospital and I needed him, replied with a snappy response
    5. Attempts at dating end up in rejection or wanting to reduce me to a booty call.
    6. Silenced at schools, hospitals, professional settings
    7. Invalidated feelings about my opinions and view of reality (to this day I give myself self-therapy to deal with invalidation)

I wish it wasn't like this but at the end of the day I see men as an obscure negative force standing on the way of a healthy connection or anything lasting more than two weeks. Every encounter makes me more cold towards men. What about you?
