I guess it depends on the rain. When I'm trying to sleep at night, whilst cuddling Jane, my wife, I happen to like the sound of rain hitting the roof. However, when I'm on a motorcycle, without a jacket and wearing only a t shirt, rain has a very specific feeling; like getting hit with rocks and pebbles at any speed above 15mph. I don't bother running from the rain when I leave the car, how wet can I get in less than 100 steps? When I did work in the Caribbean I loved the feeling of heavy warm rain. It felt like so many warm wet kisses. In contrast to working in the Sahara, where I never saw rain. But I did see a desert that in the evening looks like the curves of an infinite number of naked women. It's utterly maddening, Icy rain has never worked well for me. When my hair was really long I got caught in a sleet-fest and ice formed in my beard and hair. Not a pleasant feeling. I collect rain in barrels and use fountain pumps to irrigate Jane's garden. She grows okra, 6 kinds of peppers, tomatoes and just about every kind of herb that can't be smoked! The rain makes me feel like I'm alive.
didnt make me feel good today when i got back from a town trip and saw that it rained a bit while i was out the mig welder and my auto dark helmet got wet but seems to be ok...had to take the helmet screen all apart to air dry but it still worked
I sit within an abode of shelter, in quiet contemplation feeling across small droplets of moisture that refreshes. Seeing the spark of bounce as it hits the ground refreshing and revitalising the terrain land it touches Through nasal inhalation of aromatic breeze bringing with it the taste of change - Listening to the rhythmic and melodic beat of the sound of different tempos - but most of all, whilst recalling the tune that is - THE RAIN SONG
It is making me feel a little off right now, doesn't normally rain this early. But, rain has a way of letting you know that you're not the boss. lol
