How does rain make you feel?

It can make me feel all kinds of ways depending on the moment and circumstances.

 

I love rain, it seems to renew my energy as it does to the crops and all greenery.

It rains so infrequently here that when there is a first rain it's always refreshing or exciting. After a couple of days, it'll make me feel kind of dreary.

 

Many moons ago I wrote this song on a rainy day.

 

I worked in the rain in Seattle with a full rubber rain suit and boots. I worked in Hawaii in shorts and t-shirt and worked in the warm rain. Worked in south Florida, but did not work in the rain because of lightening. Could roof in California 360 days a year. Different conditions

. When not working, (as now)--the rain creates an insular world that is cozy and sort of encapsulates me in my own little world.
A few years ago, we had a BAD,BAD bout of freezing rain. Lost trees, roads were blocked, etc. That one was not appreciated!

Like I should drive slower. Especially while typing this.

 

One day it started raining, and it didn't quit for four months. We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stingin rain, and big ol' fat rain, rain that flew in sideways, and sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath.
