I listen to music if i can. Or just tell myself to do it. But most of the time i dont need to be pumped up. I suck either way.
Different pumping for different things. Breathing , NLP , hypnosis ,visualisation. Chinese energy exercises.Pulse control. Fresh air.Old memories of the past. Magic( seriously) etc etc I think most battles are won or lost before they begin. But I tend to believe in myself , if not in others. That I can "step it up a gear" in times of need..
If I need to get pumped I listen to Viking Metal really fucking loud, and the black metal influenced stuff Gets me in the mood to fucking rape, pillage and murder in the name of revenge and heathenpride
I don't do anything in particular. I think that when I have something big, perhaps a little nerve-wracking, on the horizon, the adernaline automatically flows. I used to talk to myself a lot before a big match though, when I played Aussie Rules. Give myself a bit of trash talk just to boost the adrenaline a little.
