Me and my girlfriend want to start getting into anal but we want to make it as clean as possible. Right now I'm just thinking about getting one of those small simple anal syringes that pumps like a glass of water amount of water into your rectum and it's supposed to clean it. Also a butt plug and lube.

What do you do to prepare for anal?

you can get enema kits at the pharmacy that will clean you out. Adding a bit of water into your rectum won't clean out much but you can try it. It's one of those things you have to kind of get used to because there will be some mess at some point in time. Condoms come off (you can use them on the toys to keep them clean too) and you can use gloves too.

A really good washing and staying away from anal when you got the shits might be good too. I've done a bit of anal and I've only seen a mess a couple of times but if thinking "it's dirty" is getting to you then you might not be ready. You really need to relax but if you get past the "dirty" part and relax enough it can be really fun.

As I read on another forum regarding anal. Shit happens.

Seriously though, it's just part of it. As mentioned, if you are squeamish about this it may not be for you. Enemas will help cut down on the mess though.

Unless you want to dedicate your day to a porn-grade colon cleanse, good luck..... you're just going to end up with water in places it shouldn't be, freeing things that shouldn't be freed and that you shouldn't need to worry about.

You're just going to have to deal with the kind of hole it is, if you want to play with it....

I don't prepare. No enemas for me. Never did one . It's my ass and I'm not forcing anyone to be there. If an incident should happen, there are showers and there's soap and all involved people are adults. It is much easier and less unpleasant for a man to condom up than it is for anyone to have an enema.

Besides, if your body is working well, no incidents should happen. I know when I shouldn't be having anal sex and I just don't do it then.

Ive detachable shower heads on a hose. takes 2mins to lean the ass over the tub apply low pressure water and be clean. I dont understand why this question is recycled every damn week, its like you never had sex before and or not of the adult age.

I agree, I rarely do anything to prepare other than larger and larger butt plugs over time.

But some things you can do...

Watch your diet and know which foods might make your stools loose.

Eat early and not just before you play.

Use a Fleet enema, they are easy to use.. after the first few times you might not need this. But many people use enemas as a kinky part of their play.

Use butt plugs well before you want to have anal sex so that your ass is used to be stretched.

And if your girlfriend is doing this for you, it would be a sign of support for you try some of these things to, so you understand what she is having to do.

i wanna make it clear that i'm not really worried about coming into contact with some feces in her rectum. honestly i'm not even planning on using a condom, even though i know it's a good thing to keep your penis from coming into contact with bacteria.

the reason i want a sort of preparation is so it doesnt hurt her (which is why i mentioned tube and butt plugs) and so it's less dirty by using an enema kit. im not planning for it to be as clean as vaginal sex, but if i can lower the amount of fecal matter i'm going to try that.

thanks for your responses. i'll give the enema a shot and see what happens.

When the time comes, I pull out the lube.

No enemas ever. Not needed. (and I am NOT a scat queen!)

I am a neat freak, and I like an enema and a shower before hand. I had one embarrassing experience with a super hot guy when i was a teen. He didnt flinch and told me that it goes with the territory. I was grossed out and totally embarrassed. I swore never again.

Ideally, I use a regular enema kit which you can get at any pharmacy. Its a hot water bottle with a hose and clamp. I fill it up with luke warm water, sit on the toilet and fill and empty until its clear. Then i refill the enema bag, hang it on the shower rod. I then do a couple more, fills and releases tomake sure everything is clear and clean. I insert Lube internally, then rinse off and I am ready for action.

If you are pressed, a quick blast on the toilet with the enema is fine.....like i said....neat freak

For Lube, I recomend a misture of Platinum Silicone lube and Albolene which you can get at any pharmacy.

There is no doubt that enemas are not required before anal....but as a woman I can tell you from a whole lot of experience that the thought of making a big mess is a big detractor from actually enjoying the experience. For me cleansing before anal is a thousand times worth the effort and hassle. I didn't figure that out for several years...I wish I would have figured it out sooner.

Fingers, plugs, lube are all good, but the real trick to relaxing the sphincter is to push out while he is pushing in....and knowing I'm clean inside makes all the difference.
