I've seen that happen, and believe me, we are not laughing with him. Or at least, my friends and I aren't, and we sure as hell don't want to be approached by him.

How do I pick up guys? The internets/myspace. I'm a bonafide nerd. It's a nice screening process, rather than random-man-at-the-bar-who-could-by-a-psychopath type situation.

buy me a drink and then let me decide if I want to approach you. A guy buying you a drink and not thinking that 7.50 entitiles him to my company shows that he is patient and not demanding and that he respects my space.

 

be interesting, funny, open. No pressure to be interested back, something where it's ok to be friends instead of partners. And have something to talk about, not just a "hi, musics loud eh?" type of line at the bar.

I dunno, I've never really had anyone flirt with me or approach me in a way I liked. I've met all my exes through the internet, aside from one guy who I just sat with and talked to for a while at his friends party (my best friend and his best friend started dating that night).

i flirt, i touch, i smile, i talk, i give them bedroom eyes lol... enough so they are wondering if i really do like them or if maybe im just very friendly. then the guy will decide how he feels about me and if he likes me he will (usually not very tactfully) flirt back and i have the upper advantage... if he doesnt then he wont respond and it's all good and i was just being friendly anyway... you gotta keep them guessing. a lot of times the male thinks it was his idea in the first place flirting with me cos he likes me which is all part of the beauty of the plan.

i think girls are just better manipulators in general. a lot of girls use this for evil. i dont lead on people im not interested in, i only use my powers for good deeds.. i'm not a prick tease.

 

see, dudes don't have the luxury of doing that. we can't bat our eys or twirl our hair(well, i can but, i don't) so we have to be much more foward. i've always had a feeling that women have a magnet to suck in the guys they really want, like it's predetermined who they're going home with, and to repel the ones they don't. and, of course girls are better manipulators, they have an edge over dudes i mean, they already have 1 of our ribs...
