I Very Much Doubt I Have Checked Them Out 7 Times In 7 Years, I Just Go About My Everyday Life, And My Feet Take Care Of Themselves.... Cheers Glen.
Whaaaaat? Do people really sit their thinking, hmmm, my soles are a little too on the clean side, think I'm going to run around in some dirt
:smilielol5:err, some do. It's a fascination with some who go barefoot especially in the early adventures. Kind of a 'badge of honor' - 'oh look at me and my dirty feet, I'm the real deal' and all that guff. After a while it's something I believe you rarely think about. Unless of course that's your kink :biker: Sx
What the deuce does a neutral rep mean? And for that post? Seriously? Its the bottom of your feet, who cares. You cant even see them unless you do some funky yoga position
I take the state of my soles as it comes. Sometimes I can be out for 10 hours and they are quite clean. Other times I can be out for the same amount of time going over the same territory and they are filthy black. A lot depends on the weather. Warm /hot days my feet get dirty very quickly. I quite like having my soles black and my toes dirty - that way I feel I have had a good days barefooting!
If you call it a preference I like mine filthy, tough and calloused. While I don't go out of my way to get them as such I do avoid puddles of water, etc. Dead shows were great places to meet others who wandered the parking lot all day and the stadium floors got your feet so black and dirty! Street painting festivals do the same.
If ya get them dirty then you just have to go to all that effort to clean them, unless you don't mind dirty sheets down the feet end of the bed. Maybe for some people going barefoot is a novelty, something they came to later in life, but for me when I was a kid I always went barefoot, except to school, probably because I had no other shoes apart from school shoes, so it's no novelty, and you soon get sick of stepping on sharp burrs.
In a business setting or someones home I'd rather cleanish. Outdoors it depends on the area, trails may involve some mud or leaves, sand on beaches, parking lots and urban areas would be entirely different. If they (feet) look natural for the surroundings shouldn't draw much attention. Barefeet look best on confident folks who are comfortable with themselves on all terrain.
