I like mine with raisins, and just a touch of spice. Have so all my life, in fact. How do you like yours?

(Oh, and BTW, I purposely don't put this in the breakfast section, because frankly, you can have oatmeal as a healthy treat, any time of day.)

I like it really thick with milk, maple syrup and stewed fruits over it.

Im with xenxan, real maple syrup only! Fake maple syrup is horrible stuff.

That's a different take on oats. Never thought of putting PB in my oats.

Kinda different but I also like polenta with butter, salt and pepper. A nice complement with eggs

Omg I love slicing and frying leftover polenta for breakfast! It's always better than it as the first day.

    :D

    That's awesome!

I always try to get just the right ratio of oats/water to achieve the most desirable consistency... Then judge my day accordingly on how well I did.

Not thick, not runny and with nothing sweeter than almonds and sultanas/raisins.

Peanut butter is amazeballs with oats! :D

Helps to thicken it up and adds a bit of protein.

I do all sorts of stuff with oatmeal. Blueberries, cinnamon, brown sugar and honey... a scoop of pumpkin w brown sugar, raisins and splash of milk (usually after it's done cooking)... bananas, peaches, blueberries. It's like a spongey breakfast soup!

I'm drunk and want oatmeal now.

I put it in biscuits, cup of flour, cup of oatmeal (or rolled oats), margarine, peanuts, choc chips.

I like the old fashioned, over the quick. A dash of butter and brown sugar or cinnamon.
