my brother's guitar's neck is bent pretty bad.. you can see the bend, and it looks like the strings are resting on the first fret. it is a first act, though, so it could've came like that.
It's all inna truss rod baby http://www.fretnotguitarrepair.com/neckrepair.htm tis easy enough to fix....regular maintenance on some guitars in fact....but tis also very cheaply done at a guitar shop, if yer not confident to do it yerself
how would adjusting the truss rod cost money? if you have the tool to do it that usually comes with guitars, it usually has a booklet with instructions.
