By 100% soya protein in powder, like those to be found in sport centers, and mix 2 spoon of it with 2-4 spoons of corns germ as floor too, ad milk or whatever, with brown sugar or fruits or rosins, and mix and eat.
Its call "a potion". You get from it all proteins you need for a day and more. Its a dosis for a physically working adult.
That floor can be added to meal too.
Have some box of soya protein floor - 100% soya protein - in the home always, as for the corn germs floor, i dont know where you cna get it in the US, but you can import it from France, by going on the internet.

Thats the one call "germalyne tradition" best of all, complement to any diet, 100% natural, they use the same technics as munk used 1000 years ago.
Their products are of very high qualities and those munks have been vegetarians since millenaries. So they know about proteins..

The website is in french, but if you need any help i can guide you.
The prices are very low and the quality very high, so the alone thing you will have to think about is the shipping fee, who is also alrigth.
As soon as you have ordered, they pack it and send it so it shouldnt go more than 7 to 10 days before you get it.

From what i know they are the alone one to produce it in the world.
I just see that now they also have packs where the soja protein and germalyne are already mixed up, so could be what you are after.
I think a pack cost about 3 dollars. Anyway the price will appear in euro, so thats about the same as in dollars.
Its the ideal solution if you dont want to think all the time about proteins dosis, and you can mix it with the usual breakfeast, cereals, musli, what ever you like.
Germalyne taste extremely good, Even cats are completely wild of it.
Excellent if you have babies and young children and teens. Also if someone get sick or just has been, It is known as a reconstituant/ rebuilder. very good for the stomach and the entire system.
It is made with 100% corn germs, processed using very traditional methods, used in this abbey/closter since it exist.
And this closter was build in 1100. So they know what they are doing..:)

All the products they have are excellent, and all of them are a pearl for vegetarians. And whats more the guys there are really nice and helpfull people.
You can order for a year consommation or more, in one shipping, for about 100 dollars or less.. shipping included, maybe more as i dont know about hte shipping fee for the US, but thats about what it will cost you, and i think its really good.

In this day and age, protein is easy. I find myself struggling to to limit my protein content to balance it with carbs. I actually have a harder time fulfilling my carbs. I've sworn off bread for the most except for sprouted grain bread. However, I don't often make food that goes on it (sandwiches and the like), so, I don't eat too much of it.

Does anyone have a positive or negative opinion on tofu? Some people say it's good for you; others swear that soy is the new Satan? Any thoughts?

Trader Joe's has a 30 day supply canister of soy protein isolate powder that is 9.99. I shake it into soymilk (Silk, Omega 3). It tastes great, in my opinion...

By the way, beware the trader joe's multivitamin. The vitamin D is animal based, even though they make it seem like the product is vegetarian.

You know, if every veg and vegan in here wrote trader joes, and asked them to make that vitamin vegan friendly, they just might do it. It wouldn't be too much of a leap--only one ingredient. Let's give it a try!
