How Do You And Your Partner Watch Porn Together?

I'm not sure the best way to phrase this, but just trying to understand how people watch porn with their partner. My wife and I do it on occasion, but it's always just a bit awkward at first for one reason or another.

Some questions I have:

1) How often?
2) How do you instigate it? Is it just "Hey, want to watch some porn tonight?" or is there more to it? Maybe you surprise him/her with one on the TV when he/she walks in or something.
3) What do you watch? Do you pick full length films or something with a story to kinda build to the actual sex? Do you just pick a scene from a website or DVD.
4) How do you decide what to watch? What if you have different preferences and / or fetishes? Do you discuss or pick it out together?
5) I think what I'm most interested in, is what's the routine/cadence when the film starts? How do you get from point A (watching the movie) to point B (sex)... Here is what I'm trying to understand...
- do you just pop it on and it plays in the background while you go at it?
- do you actually watch all or a large portion of the movie? If so, what is going on between the two of you during the movie?
- what do you do when the sex scenes come on? are you holding each other, touching each other, touching yourselves? At what point does the movie take a back seat to what is going on in the bed?
6) What is your situation with partner? Married, dating, etc.
7) Feel free to add anything else.

I'll answer my own questions.
1) Pretty rare. Maybe once every few months.
2) I almost always have to initiate it. Usually I'll shoot her a text or email and say something like, hey you feel like grabbing a bottle of wine and watching something fun tonight?
3) She's not really a big porn person, so usually it's something pretty tame, so I try to find something with a plot, some good dialogue and traditional sex scenes as that is what she prefers...New Sensations Romance type of stuff.
4) I usually find something that I think she'll like.
5) We usually put it on and watch the non-sex scenes. Usually we are cuddling, hands rubbing, etc. and they get a little busier as the scenes heat up. Our issue is that the scenes are just too long. 25 - 30 minutes. Too long to sit there and really just watch it together, so usually about a few minutes into it, we just kinda put the movie aside and go for it. Because of this, we rarely every pick up where we left off and finish the movie or watch additional scene's in the movie. I'd realy like to find something that had a better pace that we could actually watch more then a little and one scene.

7) If we do actually watch a scene, it's usually us making fun of something. The girl obviously faking it, spitting on the dudes member, spanking herself, etc.
A different topic, but I would much rather take these 150 minute couples porns that include 100 minutes of sex and turn them into 60 or 70 minutes with 25 - 30 minutes of sex. I think something like this would be a better fit for us. An actual movie with good sex, but shorter scenes.

Sitting there watching the same cadence over and over....5 minutes of oral on him, 5 on her, 15 minutes of the same positions over and over again with the same two or three money shots.

 

My girl usually suggest it. Sometimes we'll do what's happening in the video but I find she watches it more like a comedy then a erotica film. Eithe way we watch a couple minutes and usually get to the action which eventually switches to ignoring the tv and fucking .

no. I don't watch enough porn. I know some sites have women friendly open which I think involves more passionate camera angles and stories... yeah

 

I want to do this so badly but I have no idea how to bring it up to my husband. I am not even sure he knows I watch porn on my own time. Any suggestions on how to casually bring this up?

 

To be honest, guys are easy. I'm not sure how open you are about sex, but you could easily just say something like hey me and the girls were talking and porn came up and I thought it'd be fun to watch porn together. You don't even need to dispel that you watch it on your own. Once the topic of porn is brought up, it may come up and you can tell him then and ask him as well.

If he says that it sounds like fun, you can ask him what he'd want to watch or suggest setting you like. Start out tame for the first one to get a feel for it.

My question to you, since you are female, is how do you envision this going if he agrees? Don't need a ton of details, but like how do you think things will go once the movie starts. Trying to get some perspective from the opposite sex.

 

Not anymore. When we were younger we would rent videis, go to porn movies at the movie house and drive in theaters. We even had another couple we were great friends with that too went and watched too with us. But outside that we went our seperate ways to our own houses to finish the night in a great way
