today i my friend told me she was hired to model for this company for a few days. She showed me all the pics, the runway walk and everything. When i asked her how did she get hired, she lied and said that she didn't remember. Could u tell me about your experience as a model and if i match the requirements? I am afraid i am a bit too short. i am 15 years old, my height is 165, my weight is 107.5 lbs, caucasian, brunette
You have to do lots of cocaine before they even consider you. Then you have to sleep with every straight man in the agency (probably only like 1.5)... ...and then... well... then you become a model.
Step one: Anorexia and/or Bulimia. I do believe Bulimia is a little more edgy these days, so that may give you a leg up. Step two: Speaking of "leg up", get used to spending more time on your back than in the spotlight. A true model will do whatever it takes to further her career. You want to be a true model, don't you? Step three: As said before, cocaine. Or possibly meth if you're in it for the long haul. Any upper that you snort/smoke (no injections! Don't want to tarnish your pretty arms! If you must, do it between your toes)will soon become your best friend! You will have the sexy wane look all the kids are going for these days. Remember: Sunken cheeks only accentuate cheek bones! Step four: Make sure to overdose at least once within your first few months of modeling. It's sure to boost you into the spotlight 10x faster than hard work and blow jobs alone! Guaranteed! This four steps I will give to you for free; for the rest you must buy my book How To Be A Model For 3 easy payments of $9.95!!! Best of luck to you.
give up any self esteem you ever had...self-worth? wave it goodbye. you now belong to people who want to see you burn, people who hate you and a public who is waiting on tenterhooks for your nervous breakdown. good luck.
Don't do it girl. I did some modeling for a brief time and all it did is tear down any self esteem I had, made me feel like total crap about myself. Now that's not to say that all modeling gigs are like that, however, that's just been my personal experience with them.
I have two close friends who have normal jobs but model on the side. One was 'found' by an agent while we were at the cheesecake factory a few years ago hah another one just took some polaroids into an agency and they signed her on the spot. They are both 5'11ish and 140ish. One does print and the other does fitness and swimsuit modeling. I would say go for it now while you're 15. I went into an agency when I was 14 because a scout apporached my mother and I but when I went in they wouldn't sign me because I wasn't tall enough. I was 5'7 at the time.
I think it depends on what type of modeling you do too. With me, they said they liked my look, even though my height was definitely lacking. (I'm only 5'3") But I never did any major modeling... there's no way they would have booked someone of my stature for that stuff.
Yeah, let her get her kicks. Good luck to her. Maybe she'll be armpit deep in money one day while the rest of us are still busting our humps.
Steady BSR, She's only 15 mate Lil mermaid, I think you should play about with a camera with your friends or and have fun with it. You could try modelling for childrens clothes and stuff. I think you need a portfolio of pictures or something. Maybe your parents could help you out with that. Good luck!
I actually had a scout come up to my car once, lol. We were getting gas at the convenience store and she saw me pre-paying inside and said I had a "beautiful face" and should try modelling, lol. I got a card for this agency in Amarillo, never followed up on it. I'd have to do plus-size and really...I don't want to support the idea that girls my size are anything above average.
Yeah you have to be really skinny to be a model these days.. most people who are agents are very picky and stuck up their ass.. so like bsr said, better get to snorting some cocaine..
