I'd say crackheads are worse. I used to live with two tweakers. Well they werent the irresponsible type, but they did stay up all night chatting and taking apart/rebuilding shit. But the crackhead down the street, god damn thank god I have locks on my doors. Plus the tweakers were actually reliable. I once asked one of them to go and get my Laptop from a friends house, and he did just that, no shady shit. But then again I knew this guy before he started tweaking.

But now ive moved out and he's been clean from meth for 5 months now.

My answer to the original question:

Crack isn't physically addicting. Meth is. When a crack head runs out he goes to bed. When a Meth head runs out his hand swell like two baloons and he goes to the hospital. It's ugly.

That's why I used to smoke crack (and do lines), instead of Meth.

meth isnt physically addicting, heroin is... plus i dnt think crackheads care about which is more addicting, they r already seriously addicted to crack and have hit rock bottom... n trust me when a crackhead runs out he DOESNT go to bed... there a different between a chipper and an addict, chippers do crack, meth, heroin whatever occasionally, addicts r ADDICTED, what theyre addicted to depends on taste...

the only real physical addiction i knw of is opiate, benzo and alcohol addiction... anything other than that its just psychological, honestly bro.. im not saying that meth or coke arent addictive, however when ur addicted to them ur body doesnt actually NEED them like people addicted to opiates... opiate addicts need their opiates to stay normal, thats addiction... if u stop benzos or alchol cold turkey u might die, however with meth and coke cold turkey is the only way to go, do u get what im sayin?

erm I am almost positive Quality Crystal is WAAAyy more expensive than rocks. I live in farm central/methcookers heaven, so it's pretty plentiful here and it still costs more than crack.

I know ex tweakers here who said they looked down on crackheads, guess everyone looks down on everyone else.

When they are not stealing, mugging, fighting, or raping, I think tweakers are the best to be around, just cause they never stop moving and they do crazy ass shit.

    Junkies are boring as hell.

    +1

Where did people get the idea that meth OR crack is physically addicting? If they think have gone through physical WD's from Meth, they don't even KNOW what WD's are until they have had an opiate/benzo WD. Once they do, they will never call Meth a physically addicting drug again.

My mother was on crack for two years, stopped cold turkey, never touched it again, and had no physical problems. My GF's father stopped a 10 year Meth addiction cold turkey, no physical problems. I stop my opiates for 24 hours I am screaming in agonizing pain, vomiting and shitting all over myself.

    Case and point.

Also: Isn't Thailand EXTREMELY strict on their drug policy? Don't they sentence drug traffickers to life in prison/death sentence? If so, I wouldn't feel comfortable trying to get ANY drugs in that country, ever.

Are the drug laws as strict for residents? Like if you get caught with a little bit of coke or something, do you get an extreme penalty, like years in jail? Or is it a slap on the wrist, like in the US? Are those intense sentences only for drug traffickers?

which is the most euphoric ultimate high ever! dnt get me wrong i love my cocaine, and words cant describe how mixing coke with dope feels like... but as a stimulant meth kicks cokes ass, however personaly im not into stimulants, so i prefer coke much more, mixed with my heroin though!

Meth is very physically addicting. When you run out you get more or you're headed for the hospital. Your hands literally swell like two balloons.

Might not be worse than opiate WD, but it's still hell on earth.

Drug laws in Thailand are harsh, but its actually hard to get caught. I have lived here most of my life and I've went through the drug world here fairly clean with very little brush with the law. When you hear about tourists and travelers spending the rest of their lives in jail here in Thailand, its usually because they are tricked by the dealers.

Its mainly because a lot of pot dealers here are tweakers, so people dont want to give them too much shit when it comes to a deal because they can get really irrational. If you ask a pot dealer that you dont want the product anymore and that you want your money back, they will get pissed and a lot of them will turn you to the pigs.

Another reason why people get arrested for bud in Thailand is because them fucking idiots think that the cannabis laws are as lenient as in Amsterdam and Jamaica. Although if you are in the islands towards the south, you will be able to get away with smoking a J on the beach. But still, best place to smoke, if you are here, would to be indoors.

Oh and if you ever get caught in Thailand, BRIBE THE FUCKING PIGS! That will usually be your only way out. The cops accept bribes here happily, mainly because they can do with any extra cash they can get. They arent payed well here so they're more concerned with accepting bribes than catching pot smokers (and pretty much a lot of other things with the exception of murder, robbery, and high-scale yaba & crystal meth dealers).

So if and when you are here, Dont go asking just about any random Joe on the road where to buy bud. Its better if you go to the clubs, start up a conversation with any stoner dude (preferably you pick the white guys who live here), and he will happily hook you up with bud.

I've never been to Thailand but it makes me curious what the amount for a customary police bribe is?
