How do I get my photos off a CD onto Hip Forums Galleries?

Didn't know where to ask this... maybe this isn;t the right place sorry

but... I have some cd's of pictures I want to get onto the galleries. I can't work out how to save them off the CD into my hard drive...

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?:&

Are they in a folder on your cd or are they just in the root (i.e. no folder)?

You should just be able to browse to the cd and upload them in the normal way ... but if not then try copying and pasting them onto your hard disk.

Also, what format are the pictures? I think they have to be jpg, gif or png to work on here ... you might have them saved as something else (psd or psp for instance) ...

If that is the case then you'll have to open them up in an image editing application such as photoshop or paint shop pro and save them again as a suitable file type
