How do I become more fully informed?

    thank you for being sympathetic and not being hostile or flaming me!
    yeah, when you commit yourself to either institution, people don't always realize how permanent it is... you can sign in but not out.
    fun fact: foster homes get more money from the state if the kids they are caring for are on psychoactive drugs, because they're deemed more of a financial and emotional burden.

    If you were completely and properly indoctrinated you will continue to believe. Most parents don't take the time to indoctrinate their children into political beliefs though and it's not spoken every Sunday, at every meal, at bedtime, etc., so it has a much weaker effect at indoctrinating a child.

    Exactly! And religious indoctrination of the sort that the child can't ever escape from completely is one of the worst kinds.

    We need to think more of the power of that indoctrination. Some extremely intelligent people with IQ's in the 160's, 170's and above can truly believe bible fantasies such as the garden of Eden, Noah's ark, the 6000 year old earth, etc.

    Now think of how easily it is to indoctrinate people into believing much more likely and credible falsehoods!
