How Did You Pick Your Name on Here and Why That?

Mine was BORN in the Chat Rooms. I got tired of people asking me where I am.
"MattInVegas". Hmm. My NAME is Matt, and I'm in Vegas? Duh?!
But, you wanna hear something FUNNY? They still ask!

 

well. i'm not as original as y'all hihi, i took the first thing that crossed my mind, and of course, i was eating strawberries, so you imagine!

PD. they are my favorites!

 

Its a pretty Native American name I found in the generators on the internet. Forget what it means though I think I just chose it because of the sound of the name. I'm not the best at finding a couple of nouns/verbs and putting them together. So I had to steal some name I totally don't relate to.

 

Sage
It's simply my name of choice. It's irritating not to know what to call someone on forums so I tried to make it easy.
Phoenix
As a symbolism of rebirth; both in my personal life and that the forums were starting up again.
Also a tribute to the Phoenix family, who partly inspired me to be here in the first place.

Still love the name, but would probably take out the hyphen as it's pointless and a little annoying.

 

Vulva Queen is the name of a self portrait I did in a girl's art group. I had to rush it because we only had an hour to do it before she had to send it in to the magazine she was hoping to get our art published in. the picture was a very sketchy girl with her legs open and her arms, meant to imply to embrace everything natural and beautiful within ourselves, and to me vaginas always represent an important part of the person you are and life: your sexuality. and vaginas are just so damn cool.

 

I picked my name because i love nature, and i thought, well forests are cool, so i picked that and 420, well thats kind of self explanitory lol

i chose electic because i am just that eclectic in everything i do... sunshine because i love being outside int he sunshine. very simple.

 

i like penguins, but one day i just thought to myself "what if there was such a thing as a jamacian penguin...like a 'rasta penguin'", and i just think its rather humorious.

And for the longest time i thought you spelt rasta with an H, hahaha!

 

dhs = deadheadskier, which was my name on the last hipforums before the change last spring. Over the course of my lifetime, the Grateful Dead and Skiing have been the two things that I have been most passionate about.

 

My screenname is so fucking stupid. It reminds me of the value in humility.

 

well I made up the name gillian wind when i became a witch I took gillian from one of my favorite books and movies "Practical Magic" (If you have never read the book you should!) and I took the wind part from the middle name my bio parents gave me. whispering wind. so anyway my full witches name is gillian whispering wind and i frequently use it as a nick name. I also use Gillian Wind as my pen name.

 

well when i first started to post here my name was "fudawee," but I forgot the password so I made this one. It was just a random name put together by me and a friend.

 

I was given this nickname at my previous workplace, where i was the youngest, so i kept it. anyway i think it's still true anyway.

 

Mines a combonation of the first few letters of my first and last name

Hippy - because when I made this screen name on the last forums, I spelt hippy this way instead of hippie like almost everyone else..

Freek - well, on Dude Where's My Car, Andy Dick's character says, "Email me at freakincage.com!" Well, when I was thinking of my first email address ever, I wanted that...but it was taken...So was freak_in_cage...so was freekincage and freek_in_cage....so I made freekncage....And freek is how I've spelt it ever since.

2004- was the year I graduated highschool...

I'm thinking of changing my Screen name to something different though...hmm...

heh heh only jokin, its because i work as a Field ecologist and biological surveyor which means i perform wildlife surveys for protected species of plants and animals in order to aid in their conservation and protection, these are usually carried out on land that is intended to be developed by a company, or for scientific studies on protected, endangered or declining species such as Otters, Slow-worms, Badgers etc.
well anyway one area i do a particularly lot of work in is surveying wetlands for the protected Great Crested Newt, because of this my mates began calling me the newt man, which has shortened to The Newt.

so now you know.
i also get called Nature Boy and The Hippy because if this but thats alright, i can dig it.
