I met my wife at a party my friend was having my gf at the time introduced us. We had a friend get married recently, they met on a dating sight, and it got me thinking how did you meet your partner ?
She was at a church youth function with a friend, and she smiled at me. I saw her at school the next day, and she smiled again. I was hooked. She was a freshman in high school and I was a sophomore. She wanted to date me so she could wear my football letter jacket. We married almost eight years later.
I met her on a dating site for Filipinos called Pinalove. We started chatting and we have been a couple ever since. When I saw her profile I thought she was out of my league so I would just look at her photos without sending a message. Finally she sent me a message that said, “You don’t have to say anything.” After that I started chatting with her. She said that was the first and only time she ever initiated an interaction by sending the first message.
I worked in the same large office about 15 desks and for the 3 years she was there we only said hi and neither were interested in the other. Then one day she asked me for help on a case she was handling. We wound up hanging out after we got to know each other. One day I was at her house and she made the perfect Mex Chicken soup. I think that did it.
i KNEW all his brothers, I met him in the high street. I was the uptown girl, he was the downtown boy. But we lasted.
She was with some friends from school running around the Kings Island amusement park and some of my coworkers met them, they dragged me out of the locker room as I was getting off work. There was another girl I had been trying to get to go out with me for a month that had finally turned me down that day so I thought why not just meet this other girl and see how things go. Anyway she turned out to be the nicest person I ever met, the kind of person I needed at the time, my last serious girlfriend turned out to be a spoiled brat so I was very careful about the kind of person I was going to get involved with.
We met 25.5 years ago in Chemistry class when I was 17 and he was 18. This September we will be together 25 years and married 22 years. Those numbers really make me feel old.
My now ex wife I met on a blind date. Married for four years. Current wife of 22 years sent me an instant message on AOL.......yeah I'm that old. Trouble was she lived 1000 miles away. Started talking on the phone every night and we finally met for our first official date. All the texts and calls were like a month of foreplay. Best sex of my life that night.
My wife and I met in college. We lived in adjacent co-ops, the two of which interacted frequently. We dated for six months, were engaged for two years, and have now been married for forty-two years.
At a church youth event. We were playing my favourite card game 500. After I made an outrageous call like 8 clubs or something and got it she said "marry me" and 8 years or so later I did.
I was playing a club show, and her date had brought her to the club specifically to see my band. They came up to me sidestage after the show and she got on our mailing list. We ended up communicating online for a while, became really good friends. I was married at the time, wasn't looking for anyone, but this girl was just too great to not have a friendship with. (I've had many close female friends before that never became anything more.) Anyway, we eventually stopped talking to each other because the chemistry was becoming a bit more than what was manageable. A few years went by, I divorced my first wife (too much crack, meth, disappearing for days, you know the routine) and when my online status went from "Married" to "Single" I got a message. Seeing her again was wonderful, and we've been together for 15 years now. Still the most amazing person I've ever met.
We were students and both taking American History 101 with about 100 students, but we never talked before or after class. I was walking across from the university and feeling hungry, so I stopped at a hamburger place frequented by the students. My future wife was the only customer sitting at the counter, and all the booths were empty. I walked up to her and asked if I could take the seat next to her (an action totally out of character for me) and she said yes. We talked for about an hour and things progressed from there.
Met when she was in her early 20s, I was in my late 20s, both living in California at the time. had an instant connection and were together for close to a year before she went to get her masters in Colorado. We split up and I never met anyone like her after that. I moved back to upstate NY where I'm from originally in 2017. We reconnected when she was visiting her sister in CT and she started coming up to visit me regularly. We got back together and shortly after she was pregnant with twins. Fast forward 3 years and we have 2 kids, married and a little house in the country. @GypsyHolly83 The love of my life. I always knew it
I met my partner 'on-line'. She posed a question to "Yahoo Answers" and I was the one able to give a complete answer to her question. She came back with further questions and again I was able to give her a definitive answer. After a while, rather than waiting for an answer via 'Yahoo', I gave her my email address, and then my 'phone number, the rest is history.
I'd seen her a few times having fun at a bar that a friend owns and we started saying hello. A few months ago she was telling a story about her mom going into labor early and giving birth to her. Half way through the story I stop her and ask were you born on this particular day of this year at this hospital? She asks if I'm stalking her and I tell her no, but so was I. Turned out we were born within 40 minutes of each other in the same hospital. It led to more talking and here we are, still figuring things out and having fun doing it.
I met my wife through the wife of a friend I played hockey with. Initially I was single and dated around a lot, one of those "who is he going to show up with tonight" kinda things. His wife would always say that we would be perfect togwther, but she has a bf. Eventually they broke up, so the wife set up a double date. We all went ice skating at an outdoor rink in our town. She ended up going back to the ex aftwr 3 or so dates, felt he deserved another chance after 4 years of dating. Needless to say, 4 years after our first date on that skating rink, I asked her to marry me in the same exact spot.
