    I came across hipforums in three relatively equal squirts...it was kind of messy but luckily I had a shirt nearby to wipe off the screen

    If memory serves me correctly, it was a Winters day (I'd say a Hot Summer night but maybe I would be doing other things in that case ;)
    It was a Google search, I found the link, read Skips book, and stayed

    I came, I saw, I stayed

    Mattinvegas sent me a link to this board. He was a moderator on another board that was imploding and invited me to join here. :)

    At that time he was the only mod there who was not borderline insane, so I joined.

    I took a break from posting for a few years when I was having health issues. It came down to an energy thing and I needed to shift my focus to healing. :)

    Ah, so you're the ONE who read it! I knew someone had to have found it...! LOL!

    So far it appears that at least half a MILLION people have read my book online. Think of all the trees I saved by not reprinting it!

    Hippy.com predates the Hip Forums by a year or so.

    First ppl had to email posts that I would then put into a basic html file to post on hippy.com. Those things got very, very long for awhile.

    Then we got some rudimentary forum software that allowed for one forum, but people could post automatically, a big help on my end.

    Then we got another piece of software that let us setup multiple forums.

    Then we finally found Vbulletin and later we went thru one upgrade where we lost the old accounts and had to start anew. Big Bummer, but worth it!

    And the rest is history...
