How come rock stars aren't a threat to the american way of life anymore?

    Dixie Chicks damaged their career badly by questioning the rationale of the U.S. for starting the war in Iraq. They should have been recording yet another rendition of God Bless America with a video featuring a Miss America Pageant winner and a handsome U.S. military official.

    Today's rock stars aren't the anti-establishment sexual deviant drug addicts of their predecessors. The days of wild drugged out sex party's back stage have been replace with guys meditating and drinking Perrier right before a big show.

    On the flip side you got someone like Justin Beiber who's trying his hardest to look and act "Thug", but no matter how hard he tries he just look ridiculous.

    it's just a bunch of mind control by the mainstream media to distract people from things which truly matter, like the fact corporate interests control the government.

    I mean, if it didn't come from American Idol it sounds just like it did. Everything on top 40 radio sounds like it was written by the same 3 people.
