How come americans never smoke bongs?

well, noone arround me smokes a real bong because we cant hide it as well as a pack of papers or a small handpipe.

but once i move out then "it shall begin"

 

I think the reason most of the stories on here dont involve bongs is because most people who post ehre are teenagers. Most teenagers dont have their parents approval to smoke and owning a bong is a major hassle if thats so. Or maybe not a major hassle but its a lot harder to keep hidden than a pipe or a pack of papers or a few cigars. And like the guy said above me, it changes when you move out, anybody I know who smokes and has their own place has a nice bong sittin around somewhere.

 

well I dunno where you got the idea that americans dont smoke bongs but where I come from bongs are god.. step into a head shop and nothing but glass bong beauty.

 

I smoked from 2 bongs tonight. I also have another one of my own which is currently decommissioned until I get the new sleeve and stem for it.

I love bongs, and Canada loves bongs.

lol, bongs and bubblers and what not, the reason we smoke so damn much thats not out of bongs is BECAUSE WE SMOKE SO DAMN MUCH! We need portable smokeing devices for when were on the run! I.E. Joints, blunts, and bowls.

I, for one, have a nice glass cobra head two footer. Used to have a 5 1/2 foot zong too, but a dog wrapped his leash around it and (Sniffle... 8-(

bongs suck!!!!!! bongs are for kids....
kids think bongs are easier on your lungs but they just '"feel" that way and in reality tear your lungs to shreds
theyre basicaly just a novelty item kids use to impress theyre freinds...but arent practical at all
if i'm in a circle smokin with freinds, and someone packed a bong, i always refuse to smoke it..chalices and hookahs excluded, but i rather have a chillum or bowl anyday

anyone ever make water bottle bongs. theyre REALLY popular in my town and they suck so bad but its funny to see all the little middle schoolers walking around asking kids for water bottles and shit all the time.

 

how are bongs not practical?

 

I like smokin bongs sometimes, cuz they get you crazy stoned, but at the same time, they are not as chill as a nice pipe. I feel like whenever I smoke bongs my lungs are burning and hot at all and everyone around you is always like "go go!" and its always intense, and I like it, cause you cough a lot, and that always means youre gonna get fucked up, but its also not comfortbale. And plus, pipes dont waste that much, you just gotta make sure that you dont torch the weed, or else itll all burn at once and THATS when its a waste. but i tend to just light it a bit at a time. and you can easily set the pipe down, I always feel liek Im going to break and drop bongs.

Joints are cool, but I dont make htem myself. Theyre jsut too much of a waste. you gotta use soo much for a joint, and you could smoke the same amount in a pipe and be alot more stoned.

IDK dude, my parents are 60 and 54 and they both smoke bongs more than anything else. Not 2 foot ones but my mom says she likes the cooler smoke.

I like bowls the most though. Something small you can carry with you, always does the trick.
