57 F after a high of 70 F The only remaining snow are those huge piles at area malls and shopping centers (covered in dirt) that don't melt (in a normal year) until mid-may Hotwater
It got REALLY cold in beautiful downtown Melbourne Australia last night. I think Summer is almost over. 9C
53 F Although I do miss the can-man who covered all 3 blizzards https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8csBunLba0 Hotwater
last two weeks of april and first to of may, are about as just right as it gets around here. so if you see me kind of dissappear for a while, i serriously need to get out more and enjoy it as best i can.
It's been really rainy here too, very odd for June, and today July 1st, raining all day. I need my pink umbrella! No fireworks tonight (Canada Day). It's also been unseasonally chilly. I'm sure the western part of North America is singing a different tune. You guys need a How Hot is thread!
Hello, Ah, rain. That would be nice now. Well, I'm not from the western part of North America, but here you go: http://www.hipforums.com/forum/topic/460921-bump-this-thread-if-its-hot-where-you-are/ Regards Gyro
It's been near 90f for the high for the past 3 weeks here in Seattle. We averaged 78f for June which beat the all time record average for June of 75f.
i need a hat, or something with a hood that doesn't look completely bumified. it the middle of a too hot summer, but then out of no where in the middle of it, we get a freque storm in the afternoon. driving rain and even hale yesterday. i like the rain better then the hot. it turns our desert to mud, and the next day its all dried back out again. california needs the rain and snow worse then we do. weather is not climate, but climate has changed. storms, for as long as people kept track of them, came from the canadian jet stream dipping down across washington and oregon, and pulling moisture inland from the pacific. but these odd storms we're getting now, just in the last fiften or twenty years its started doing this, are monsoonal, coming up from the south. yes the weather has always been changable at any time around here. but this change in pattern, is a relatively new thing, that's only been going on for less then a couple of decades. its wonderful that we're getting some weather around here, in northern nevada, but not so wonderful, that northern california, that needs it worse then we do, is not.
With no cold weather in sight I thought I'd post the forecast for the South Pole -62°F RealFeel® -106° F Precipitation 25% Hotwater
An Hour Later I Have About An Inch Of Snow And It's Coming On Strong, Tis Midnight Here And I Can Only Imagine What I Am Going to Wake Up To In The Morning. Tis Truly Beautiful... Cheers Glen.
