Very sunny and abnormally warm this winter. Looks like it's gonna be a dry arid summer with a serious drought. Shitty.

..WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING
    TO 9 AM EST FRIDAY...

    * HAZARD TYPES...BITTERLY COLD WIND CHILL VALUES.

    * WIND CHILL...15 TO 25 BELOW ZERO.

    * TIMING...LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.

    * IMPACTS...FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA IF PROPER PRECAUTIONS ARE
    NOT TAKEN.

    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN
FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND
    GLOVES.

Right now is is 27F but it is supposed to go up to 46 later today and stay around that for today and tomorrow. I am hoping that it melts all the snow and ice before we go into another deep freeze next week. More likely it will melt a lot and then freeze up leaving the ice.

the high today was 69f. It was glorious. Yesterday was the same. I feel like a whole new woman after a much needed dose of warm sunlight. Just a few more weeks of chilly weather and spring should be here for good. I love spring.

That is absolutely not true. It might have been true for some people, but not many. Especially those that live in cold regions. The people here would camp over the winters and ice-fish and trap small game to survive.

Where it Here? That you are referring to.

So, you are stating that the vast majority of the people who have ever Lived on the Earth mostly live HERE, in your cold climate, the vast majority never followed the buffalo, or the bison, or the Mammoth, or the Mastodon, and we never ate them out of existence?

Most all small game hibernate in the winter and many lake fish freeze and revive in the spring as do toads and frogs. Even squirrels stay in all winter and eat the nuts that they had stored.

Anyway, it's February 9th, 2015 and it's 81ª F outside, that's 27.222ª C, and the Sun is out and hot. What's it like where you have chosen to live you life? LOL
