How cold is it where you are?

Ugggg, I feel for ya.

End of Feb into March is our start to spring. We still could get a skiff of snow like last week but it's generally warm and heading into spring till May then we start to get pretty hot.

I have no idea the temp here... I think in the 30's but I feel like shit today and I'm literally (fingers, toes) sitting here in two sweatshirts and a heavy robe feeling numb w cold. Never been so damn cold in my life.

 

I commiserate. It's up to -1C but I'm shivering under the covers. Then the next minute I'm throwing them off because I'm hot. I hope you (we!) feel better soon.

we had clear skies and frost the night before, so the sun had an easy job today . I think it should get even warmer at the weekend. But as I said, it's just a glimpse of spring. There's still a chance for some snow, even down here in the valley.

As it turns out, I was really lucky. About an hour's drive from here, in two of the little towns where I grew up, they were absolutely devastated by last night's ice storm. Neither place will have power for many days. Some people who had many trees on their property lost all of them!

 

I wore a tShirt to go do my afternoon pick up run and am back now, was nice but in the shade with the wind it was a slight chilly. Sun is still beaming it's yellow head.

 

56F (13c). Wind knocks the temp down though.

 

No but it upsets my deterministic world view in favor of your relativistic point of view

With how cold I was today and sick all day I was kinda shocked to realize it was like 44 degrees Feh outside.

 

I know it was fairly warm here during the day, sure didn't feel it to me. But I conked out and had a long nap (now I'll be up all night!) and now I'm hot and sweaty. And the temps have dipped. Always the rebel.

 

13ºF this morning. When I woke up yesterday it was -2ºF

Not as nice as Zermatt, but it's OK . It's 16C now and if I'm still motivated after the next coffee I'm out for a short hike.

Beautiful day out today. We're above freezing, it's 2C (36F) and sunny. Almost shorts weather!
