How cold is it where you are?

The only place I would move also has shitty weather. I guess I'll stay put. Could never get the hubs to move. We are too close to our families to move.

 

My wife really wants to move there. She has family there and it is awesome but I agree...pretty expensive. Plus, what would I do for a living there? I own a company here and I have no idea if I could actually move the business to another state (I've never looked into it very much...to be fair.) I'd love to but I think California presents a lot of hurdles that I don't have to deal with here. But I do have to deal with this stupid cold weather!!

Was just looking at the current wind chill's and it seems likes it's freezing everywhere all over the country! Even wind chill's in the 20's - low 30's in southern Texas, new mexico, northern florida..etc.. and -44 degree's around the great lakes! :leaving: I know that it's the "wind-chill"...but still!

pretty wild if you ask me.. when was the last time it got that cold for you guy's down in the far south? (texas, new mexico, Louisiana, Florida)??? This reminds of the whole scenario in the film "The day after tomorrow" haha.

it's freezing up here in the northeast! However, I really feel for the people near the great lakes.

It gets this cold here (north florida), but it's a rarity. Usually a few days per year up to a few weeks per year total are this cold or close to this cold. It's making me want to go snowboarding anytime I go out for a smoke.

They are closing schools in Atlanta. It's 6 degrees....hahaha sissy lalas.

 

School was closed yesterday and today here, because it's cold.

It's been between 0 and 2 f with a wind chill between -25 and -13

 

The day started at -14 and is about -10 now. They are saying it might go all the way up to 7 degrees today but that the wind chills will stay at -30 to -40. Not nice out there.

It's FUGGIN' COLD

 

It was 12 F here last time I checked. Pleasantly brisk!

i live about two hours from atlanta and they delayed school here for 3 hours this morning. It seems kind of silly to me, but I'm guessing they're doing it with bus riders in mind. It is pretty cold to wait outside for the bus if you're not used to weather like this.

 

about 2 degrees F with wind chill at -20. guess i won't ride my bike to work today...

 

yeah its like 8 degrees F here and my little brother doesnt have to go to High School. my college is also closed. i rather go in today. such pussies in GA.
