Christmas is over and after two and a half day of constantly raining the sky is blue again and the sun is shining . It's 1.6 Re (just to f* with the US and the metric people ) outside.

It is in the 20f's now and they say in the 30's later today. We will have a heat wave and get up to almost 40 over the weekend then back into the teens and 20's by Monday.

one day I want to experience that. I think it's not as bad as it sounds. The lowest temperature I had been in was -34C or -35C. That's bearable, but windchill can make it mean.

Winter started somewhere around the 21st, but we had all our winter weather around the 8th. It's 36 right now, but warmer in the daytime.

I definately want snow. What else is winter for!? Seriously, I can't say if I would like to experience a russian winter: I can imagine it could go either way, love it or hate it. I guess it also depends on how you keep your house warm

Winters in parts of Russia are crazy, same with northern Canada. Where I live now is about as far north as I'd want to go, haha.
