Hi Wizardofodd ) I like your name!

May I ask, where you do live to have such weather?

Here is extremely cold. Last year was -55C ( but we had colder many times before. Our winter also is very long. The summer is short, but I do not like it. It brings many problems from insects, and floods. Most of the sickness also happens in our summer. It is better for me to live in cold )

It was 17 when I left the house this morning. Not supposed to break 20 tomorrow. Winters here in Minnesota can be pretty harsh. The coldest I have ever experienced was around -40. That was the air temp. Windchill was -68.

You must be pretty far north for it to get that cold. My friends go up every February to ice fish in some tournament and they tell me stories about how cold it is. No thanks. I'm only 1 state away and this is cold enough for me.

I think we've talked about how much i hate going to Minnesota because bad things happen to me there. I've agreed to go in May. Wish me luck! Weather better be nice by then although we had snow in May this year.

I wouldn't mind experiencing a real winter sometime. Maybe I will fly north one winter.

Today is 50 and raining, an unseasonably warm day. Still too cold for me. I really don't like cold weather. Anything below 70, to me, is toooooo cold. I prefer 80 and sunny. I live in an area with fairly harsh winters.

My issue with winter is that is goes on foreverrrrr, it's cold from October to May! I am pretty "done" with the weather after Christmas.

I have the opposite problem. Its warm/hot as hell here from March - October so I enjoy the brief respite from the heat.

Yeah, we got blasted in May as well. I want to say the only month in Minnesota with no snowfall ever recorded is either July or August. One of those two.

Thank you! And I live in Iowa. Not the coldest place but cold enough. I don't blame ya for wanting to avoid bugs. I hate them too. :)
