coldest i've ever seen was -18 in southern utah. that was 50 years ago, i've only been that way a few times in my life.
74F (23C). Apparently 0 on the fahrenheit scale, was set to be the coldest they could get a thing at the time, by mixing a bunch of water, ice, and salt. Clearly this was before there was a Canada... seems like an otherwise lovely country.
i don't got wan ov them thermomometer gizmos, but its cold enough out there for there to still be ice where all the snow estivated.
Today was awesome! It got up to 64 F/18 C. It felt more like late April. At last check, my Connecticut zip code was down to 42 F/6 C.
