53f with real feel 61. I remember someone remarking a while back that you never see real feels above actual temps. Well, here in this humid soup you do.
24C inside, real feel next to the woodstove 26 Outside -9C. Wind makes it feel a lot colder! The first dutch person who cracked through the ice and died this winter is a fact. He was 75. Ah well, at least he did what he wanted so much.
cold enough to know that a bright sun is deceptive after a storm, especially when i can see very solid looking ice in all the shady spots. (don't have a thermometer, cell phone, television, or radio. had a pretty thing with a thermometer, a barometer, and something else, humidity i think it was. relocating over the mountains busted the barometer but it still looked pretty. left it behind in one of my movings though)
It's late in the night here. It's actually really nice outside though. I'd guess it's in the 50s. I spent around a decade in a state that would usually or maybe always get snow in the winter. I don't miss the cold of it, but the snow was often beautiful.
2nd Month Of Autumn Tomorrow......31c Today......And At 8-30pm I'm Still Naked On My Veranda With A Temp Of 23c......Making The Best Of It Before Winter Hits.....Three Nights Ago The Low Was 2c.....A Warning Of What's To Come...... Cheers Glen.
Remarkably mild with a morning low temperature of 39 F with an expected high of 53 F I Just checked the temperature at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station and it was -66 F with a wind-chill of – 99 F, don't know why I do that every morning but I'm sure it's freudian in nature
It was -22f actual temp yesterday morning. No idea what the wind chill was but it was pretty cold. I was outside at 5:45 in the morning trying to get my wife's car to start. I eventually just drove her to work in my truck.
In central Victoria, Australia, the past 3 weeks have included about 8 days over 40C, and the max was 46C.
it was actually almost shirt sleave weather where i am today. still wore one coat and sheepie (a synthetic fleeces in the form of a vest), but only one undershirt and no longhandles. because its still that time of year, and weather is always changable any time of year most places i've lived, which are western u.s. mountains about a couple of thousand feet elevation.
Today: It will be another cold day, with wintry showers moving in from the east. Sleet and snow is possible, especially over the hills. Elsewhere, there will be some sunshine though. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
my body thinks its too cold judging by my aches, but my mind thinks its not cold enough, because the percipitation outside is rain and not snow. i wish it could snow without having to be cold, and without such a snow having to be poisonous. i also wish people would quite trying to confuse weather with climate. weather freezes or burns your own skin, climate melts ice caps and glaciers. apples and oranges.
