How cold is it where you are?

I don't even have a light jacket. We go from parka to shorts here. It's gonna be parka today, -11C. Colder with the windchill, I don't always check it because it's always colder at the lake. And lots of snow, ugh. But less than a month to Daylight Saving Time! It's already light again at 5:30 p.m.

Just a pleasant winters day on Long Island.

 

Freaking hot here! Got overheated dragging the groceries back home. It's like 10 degrees warmer then yesterday but didn't change coats. Nasty wind is gone too. I didn't expect it to get this warm...

It's all relative of course. Only 10C. But the contrast with the days before make it feel like summer

We have a tease of spring here today. The sky is grey but it's not that cold. I think it might have even been 14C just awhile ago when i was chasing my dog through the pastures!

 

well it snowed a bit yesterday. not enough to stick at my elevation. today the sun is out. the first day the sun comes out after a storm, is usually colder then blue blazes.
glad i laid in supplies a couple of days ago, though i really need to get out more often, instead of sitting here almost all day almost every day.
(not just on the internet. i DO make pictures with a 3d program called blender, when i'm not playing with train sims, or mucking about on it.)
