This guy sounds like me when I moved to a new area. Big difference is I would have got to know ya and smoked with ya. And split an 8th whats that gonna last about an hour? If he smokes daily an 8th won't do it. Don't get this guy squat. Let him come fire one up and share a smoke but trust takes time. When I moved to a new area it took 3 yrs to gain that trust and make good friends and connections. Reading this helps me understand how the new people I met years ago viewed me as a possible kook. If this guy is a narc he will want to know the source for a big bust. Most people work through middle men and have no clue anyhow where its coming from so he may just be phishing using you to get bigger fish. Peace

 

How the hell would he be a narc if he has a job with you, and he's 26? That's where you're being waaay too paranoid, this guy just sounds a bit no0bish, that's all, I could understand if he was a bit older and you didn't know his actual job but this is totally different.

You guys are being too paranoid. Cops do NOT go undercover in lengthy investigations to bust random pot heads. Searching vehicles during traffic stops delivers far far far more results and at a much lower cost and risk.

If you are a big time dealer, or close friends with one, then you would have something to worry about.

Were not doing meth and heroin here people, it's a different game. Chump mj possession charges are way too low ball to waste time and resources of your local PD in big undercover operations. I know everyone thinks the world is out to get potheads (true in some ways) but busting meth/heroin/crack/coke rings is top priority for cops as far as drugs go, pretty much all MJ busts are just bad luck on the part of the user, unless you are a big time dealer or grower, like I said before.

It's not like your scarface because you smoke a bit of weed. Not that many people really care.

It could be that I went to a suburban school, or maybe I just got lucky and never came accross any, but... ive never come across any, lol. Oh, but one of my early dealers, like way back in the most ancient of my stoner days I had this dealer who for some reason thought I was a narc. I mean, I think it was because I was pretty much an exact sterotype of a dead head stoner, ie tie die every day, a big ass fucking hemp necklace, and laid back. I ended up having to get a brand new dealer on very short notice. Thinking back on it its pretty anoying, the guy thought he was fucking al copone and the cops were afterhim, but not cause he was paranoid from drugs, but because he was a douche. I think allot of times if they use anything it will be a sort of imformant, maybe people in college who got busted bigtime, but are getting off for being an informant. In that case they'll probably be easy for them to blend in, because they're already in with that sort of crowd. The one thing that could possibly point out a dealer is them acting nervous, because if they were say a 20 somthing year old pot head, they would know how much informants and undercover cops are liked. Oh I went on a stoned rant, didn't I... just look of that mass of words up there. Oh well, I'm posting it anyway, cus i've been typing for like 5 minutes, and it feels like 30.

If I were you, the only thing I might be concerned with, is getting ripped off or something.

But yeah, thats definitely excessive paranoia... undercover cops aren't really used to bust people helping their friends get 8ths of pot.... even an ounce, or QP for that matter, really isn't shit.

If the DEA invested all that time and resources in trying to bust people (not even dealers, per se) with mere ounces... they would never make ANY progress in controlling/combatting weed distribution.

 

I think you only really have to be worried if you're dealing it yourself. Like it's already been said, the cops aren't after pot heads, they're after pot dealers. We've had cops tell us that specifically. They KNOW we smoke pot, but they leave us alone, because they want to get big busts, not waste their time on someone who has an ounce or less.

 

the other day some guy cam to the local chill spot and all the kids i hang with ( like 25 of us) so guy like early 20 comes over like hes been cool with us forever and he comes up to me asking for a blunt. but you see i dont dead with buying the weed certain people in the group do that only. so it was kinda weird i said no and he kept asking everyone and everyone said know he offed me some wings i said i dont want any and he left but everyone said they got the narc vibe form him

 

Dude, I'm pretty sure the cops didn't send a guy to try to bust you selling a blunt. Everyone who got a "narc vibe" was just paranoid, including yourself. They don't care enough about you or your friends for an undercover operation.

In any situation, ask yourself what you have to gain and what you have to lose. If what you could gain is worth the risk, then do it. If not, don't.

I haven't read one word about why you should be smoking out with this guy at all. You seem to have no possible gain, no matter how slim the risk might be. Why bother?
